Abstract paintings, Austin TX

Painting Image

I promise I'll stop putting fingers on my paintings. Maybe just one more of these and I'll take a break. Wyatt named this one, he said, hey dad I actually like this one. So I said, what should we name it, and he said FINGER PAINTING. So there ya go!

This was a piece that I was happy with starting out, and then I ruined it, and then added the fingers and I think that saved it.

Is it a little weird? Sure. Am I a little weird? Sure.

I hope you're having a great day out there wherever you are.

Oh, and the fingernails glow in the dark.

Materials: Acrylic and dye on canvas

Chase Elliott Clark is an artist based in South Austin. When he's not working on the design team at Calm, you can find him in his garage, painting away on his latest abstract creation.

Using an unpredictable drip technique, Chase's paintings are a reflection of the moment and a unique expression of his inner world. He finds inspiration in the chaos of life and translates it onto the canvas with bold colors and sweeping movements.

Outside of his art, Chase is a dedicated husband and father to his wife, son, and blue heeler dog. He enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and immersing himself in the vibrant creative community of Austin.
